WHAT WE TREAT

Common. Treatable. Almost never properly evaluated.

Most providers either dismiss these concerns or prescribe without testing. We do the work to understand what's actually going on first.

Low Desire (Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder)

You used to want sex and now you don't, and that bothers you. That distinction, the distress, is what makes this a clinical condition. Desire is driven by hormones, neurotransmitters, and sometimes medication side effects. Which one is off determines what actually works.

Difficulty with Arousal or Orgasm

Your mind is willing but your body doesn't follow, or it takes significantly longer than it used to. Arousal and orgasm involve blood flow, nerve signaling, and hormonal status. Estrogen decline is one of the most common reasons, but thyroid dysfunction and certain medications can do the same thing at any age.

Medication Side Effects

A lot of women notice their desire, arousal, or ability to orgasm changed after starting a medication. SSRIs are the most common culprit, but blood pressure medications and hormonal contraceptives can do it too. If the timing lines up with when things changed, it's worth looking into.
